The location is fantastic, close to museums and nice restaurants. Check-in took a while due to staff availability.

The beds were good sized, I slept well. Had an iron, a flat-screen television, and a study table. Unbeatable and exceptionally nice hotel's location, as it was near the train station. Besides, I was near a garden and a park.

Queen room with the bathroom and kitchen plus private bath was ready when we checked-in. We had a microwave, an electric kettle, and fridges...

A rather cramped room with noisy, late-night revelries spoiled what could have been a perfect stay. The entrance was so poorly marked, my taxi nearly dropped me off at a completely different building. I also expected some kind of welcome gift, but clearly that luxury is for more important guests. I just couldn't recommend this place.

The chopped salads at Taberna Mas Al Sur are a must-try-bright and fresh with a twist of local flavor. Plus, the hostal's proximity to the Prado Museum was fantastic. It made our sightseeing easy. And I must say, the comfy beds definitely made coming back after all that exploring worth it!
It can get a bit loud since it's in a lively area, but honestly, it just adds to the city's buzz. I'd still choose this place again. It's perfect for quick getaways!

Great location, large rooms, friendly staff. We ordered a room for two persons and got a whole apartment: with a large kitchen, washing mashine, microwave; with a wardrobe room; and with a corner transformed in living room. It was astonishing and great.
Dusty towels.

Positive, I really enjoyed my stay! The location was amazing, just steps from the museums and shops. The room had three beds and a desk. Plenty of power plugs. The linen was clean and comfy, perfect for rest after long days out. The staff were super accommodating.

Perfect location and convenience to sites, train, bus, metro. Delightful establishments in the square outside for tapas, breakfast, etc. Simple accommodations, but clean and efficient. The proprietors are very nice and exceedingly helpful.

The room was fairly quiet with good furnishings and the bathroom and even a hairdryer. The bar served lots of meals for breakfast. The location was incredible, a short walk to an 8 hectares botanical garden.
The bathroom was a little small.

My honest journey to loving (or hating) this
Very nice locale near major attractions a clean setup with friendly hosts provided perfect service at every turn
Rooms are compact making movement tricky at times thin walls invite noise from neighbors

The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent, very near the Prado and other major art galleries and also on the edge of the Huertas district with it's lively bars and restaurants. The room was small but comfortable and very quiet.

excellent surrounding eateries, helpful luggage arrangements, ample power outlets
The bathroom ventilation felt non-existent!!! The small bathroom and room size could use improvement. Adjusting to the pricing in the area doesn't justify the cramped space!!!
